Is Fitbit Luxe nickel free?

I had to return my Blaze because of a Nickel allergy.  Is the Luxe completely aluminum and nickel free or is there still a trace?  I don't want to buy something and have to return it again.

Hi there, @dlovefromthe313. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your Fitbit Blaze, I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note the Luxe housing is made of stainless steel. The Luxe band is made of a comfortable silicone (similar to that used in many sport watches) and fastens with an anodized metal buckle and tang. The special edition gorjana Parker Link Bracelet is made of stainless steel and comes with a peony silicone band.

All stainless steel has a little nickle. Fitbit follows the EU standards for Medical Grade Stainless steel and has less nickle the allowed in the USA. Medical grade stainless steel is what implants are made of.

Some users have found ways to protect their skin. A search may bring up some ways.

I still experience some irritation under the fitbit itself, not the band.
Can i use nail polish or something for a layer of protection or will it influence the measurements?
Usually i use this when wearing a watch and it works great for me.
