Just Got a Luxe - it keeps turning off whenever I take it off??

So, I was able to charge it, set it up, everything is fine....until I remove it to shower or whatever.  Then it won't wake up and I have to put it back on the charger to wake it up by pressing the button three times.  Does anyone else have this issue?  And the charger connection doesn't always work!  That's a bit frustrating.

Hi, @kelakers , welcome to the community, your "Luxe" will need to be on your wrist to function. The Green LED will be flashing and an HR reading will follow shortly after. You may find this article about charging of interest Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hey, I am experiencing this same issue but I do not take my Fitbit luxe off. However, I do work in remote area and it seems to shut itself down whenever I am on shift with no service. I really wanna track my health data when I’m walking in the woods but it has not been successful once. Aside from that I love the thing and don’t want to have to return it.

Hi, @Lenford, welcome to the community, It's not clear what issue you are experiencing. If your "Lux" has just gone dead and there is no flashing light on the back it may be a charging issue, see my earlier post.

As far as tracking data is concerned you should note your "Lux" talks to the Fitbit app on your phone (via Bluetooth) and the phone then talks to the Fitbit server over the internet via your phone connection or over Wifi via your router. If you are working in a remote area without a phone connection the "Lux" will store many days of data and once connected will deliver the data to the server. You do need an internet connection, this is called syncing How do Fitbit devices sync their data? 

I'm not sure this addresses your problem but I hope it helps.

Hey, just charged it to 100% before I left today. The app on my phone says it’s still at 96% but the luxe is completely shut off and required a restart when I got home. Because of this none of my data was tracked today. Should I just replace the luxe?

Just to add it will shut off before I can even put it on my wrist now. The device is fully charged but wont stay on. This is very frustrating as I haven’t even owned it for a week.

This keeps happening to me too! Fully charged after a shower, then randomly dead a few hour later. Requires a restart and a charge to work again and all my data is lost. The luxe is my fourth Fitbit, and I love the style but I hate the tech issues! I wonder if it is a lemon? Or is this the quality of the new Fitbits?
