HELP!! Jan 10, 23 Just got my Fitbit Luxe n both mornings I've had OVER 300 'steps' on it BEFORE I even got out of bed, and a total of OVER 11,000 'steps' in 2 days just around my small apartment, I'm a little bit older female and I DO NOT want to wear this on my ankle. My Fitbit IS on my NON-dominant hand and I followed ALL instructions setting it up. MY heart rate and sleep functions are just fine, so is everything else, just not the counting of 'steps'. Ive lightly searched through and I really dont see solutions.  PLEASE PLEASE ADVISE!

Hi @PazzyDn  these are wrist based devices and each movement of our hands will count as a step. People who knit, sign ASL or play the drums will have a higher step count. If you're pushing a stroller or shopping cart, holding something close to your chest or put your hands in your pockets, the steps aren't always counted. The only solution would be to substitute an activity for those unwanted steps - click to learn how.
