Live heart rate won't sync in the Fitbit app

Over the past week the live heart rate will not show on the app.  Everything else seems to sync properly.  I have tried forgetting the device under the bluetooth settings, restarting my phone and re-syncing it.  This worked a couple of times, but not any more. I've been having to do it everyday.  I do not see the setting to enable all day sync under the device settings either.  This is so frustrating. Using iOS.

Hi there, @MichelleTegg. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your live heart rate before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the steps below:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap Force Stop and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  5. Pull down on the screen to force a manual sync and monitor your data to see how it goes.

As for the All-Day sync option, please know that we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app to improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life. To learn more about what factors affect battery life, see Can I extend my Fitbit device’s battery

I don't see the ability to do this as instructed. I did log out, but there is no option for storage or clear cache under the app settings. (going under settings and then fitbit, there is no separate category for "apps" as they are all listed below, that is where I checked for this)  If I go in to settings>general>iphone storage - under fitbit I can offload or delete the app.  I would have to reinstall, but that is not what you are instructing.

Earlier I did try to disconnect and then re-add the luxe same as a new device.  It was difficult to do, it took 5 tries it had difficulty connecting.  When it finally did reconnect, the heart rate did work for about 5 minutes and then went back to just showing the resting heart rates. I should add that I have no problem connecting to any other device by bluetooth.
