Lost two Luxe devices due to the design of the bands

Is Fitbit changing the design of the wristbands?   I like to change my wristbands to color coordinate. Even though I thought the bands were secure, they were not.  I lost not one but TWO trackers due to this horrible watchband design.  Both times I was wearing them while golfing and didn't notice they had fallen off my wrist.  What a waste of money.  I hope fitbit gets their act together and changes this design.  I will NOT purchase another fitbit watch until this is corrected!

I believe they are. I lost my Versa 3 because of their new band design and fitbit refuses to replace it. why can't they just stick with the design that worked for years, innovation isn't always necessary. I had my Fitbit Ionic for 4 years. I had my versa for 4 weeks.

Why doesnt someone from Fitbit provide some actual feedback in this post?  I want to know if they are changing the design of their watchbands.

Today I informed Fitbit of having the same problem of bracelet becoming disconnected and Luxe literally falling off my arm. They would not replace it under warranty even though it’s only a few months old and offered me a discount to buy another Luxe. Why would  I want to buy another Fitbit when I already paid $169.99 plus tax for the one that is so badly made it won’t stay together?  I’m very disappointed with Fitbit and I will recommend to friends and family to buy other brand names.  I will also post my disapproval and disappointment on other venues, ie Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

I have reported Fitbit to the Better Business Bureau and my provincial Consumer Affairs (Business Practices) Department for investigation. Based on information on the community forums, this problem was identified to Fitbit long ago and they still sell this inferior product and refuse to replace the tracker. I will post any information I receive with the hope of warning potential buyers to steer clear of Fitbit.
