Luxe Fitness and Wellness Tracker another FAIL - NO floors counted!!!!

Luxe Fitness and Wellness Tracker proves to be another FAIL for Fitbit! And proof that they don't listen to their consumers.

This product is CLEARLY aimed at women (jewelry like styling) and people wanting a smaller profile tracker and not a oversized watch tracker combo.

It is advertised as such that it's being compared to it's bigger cousin (aka smartwatch tracker) that has more features including "stairs climbed", yet it does NOT have that particular function.

So, Fitbit, you're saying that WOMEN and people wanting a smaller profile tracker do not deserve the same level of fitness/wellness tracking as those who have the body size to pull of a big giant tracker???  You're purposely creating an inferior product and gearing it towards people that you feel don't deserve the same level of tracking???

SIZE is NOT the reason that an altimeter is not in place on the device since the ORIGINAL FITBIT ONE in fact has the ability to count stairs climbed, and it's slightly SMALLER than this and the other similar sized devices that have been being released recently.

Fitbit I ask of you why do you NOT listen to the Consumers about what they want in a device?  The ONE was the best indiscreet tracker you ever made, and did everything it needed to do... why reinvent the wheel and then make it square?!!

Hi @StampMyArt  quite a few men have posted on the forums about loving their Luxe. I've used Fitbit products since 2013. The Luxe quality is excellent. Many people miss the One as well as the Zip, but they aren't made now. There are users of these devices who don't want all the bells and whistles. Many of my friends and family just want to know their steps, not their stairs, so the Inspire 2 and Luxe are perfect for them. Fitbit does listen to their user base. As with any company, Fitbit tests these products out before they are released to the public for sale.

@Odyssey13- "quite a few men have posted...about ...luxe"  That's why I specifically posted "AND...people wanting a smaller profile tracker". I am aware of what isn't made, and just because YOUR friends and family only want steps, doesn't mean the rest of us do, there are entire threads of people complaining that the newer small trackers are failing to include the altimeter.  I am not the only one.  The Fitbit ONE was replaced with something that did less, and each version afterwards excludes it, but the GIANT oversized SMARTWATCHES include it.  So clearly they are NOT making comparable products for people who need a smaller profile.
