I have had my Fitbit replaced 3 times and on the second band. There is a definite design flaw in the Luxe.
Fitbit ever should have gone away from using the pins.
Especially not using plastic clips when the Fitibit device is metal.
Sooooo I say this to tell you that I GIVE UP!
I literally have to check my band every couple of minutes to snap it back into place.
I created my own solution. Since I absolutely love the look of the metal Gorjana band and will not ever use the silicone band (I actually threw it out) I decided to fix the problem that Fitbit created with the design.
I got some super duty Loctite Super Glue that works with metal and plastic and glued the band to the device. I'm on day one of this fix so I hope it works. If not I will be investing in some epoxy glue and try that. At least there is no gap between the clip and the device now and I don't have to keep snapping it back on before it falls off. Which it has done and I almost lost the device and band completely 3 times. Luckily I caught it in mid air and saved it.
Good luck to others out there as it seems Fitibit is not doing much to provide a permanent fix to this obvious issue.
Cheers!

Literally doing the same with Gorilla Glue. Fixing an issue they refuse to!

That’s what I did - works a treat! Three+ months now and no more issues. Shame about the scratches from when it fell off while walking tho.

Same here. I purchased Luxe in Aug 2021 - after enjoying both the InspireHR and AltaHR. The luxe is less bulky and I like the oxygenation and body temp measures.
I had bought several after-market bands on the other Fitbit’s - metal, more bracket to wear a real watch out but track my steps and activity.
I tried a few after-market bands for Luxe and found they gap where the bands snaps into the device. I thought there must be something “special” with the Gorjana band bc it can’t possibly have this gap issue, but I
didn’t exactly want to spend $100 just for a band. I broke down and got one, but then found it also gaps and apparently this is a common problem ☹️
I will probably return the Gorjana band. I prefer to switch out bands and will continue using the gaping $15 bands, not using super glue which is quite sad. I have a skin reaction to the silicon for some reason.

Are you saying I will void my warranty if I fix the bad problem myself? I love the design of this Fitbit but the band disconnecting is driving me crazy. From the many other complaints I see online I doubt that a replacement will make any difference as the issue is a design flaw, not a manufacturing error.

I did return the Gloriana band in Jan 2022.
And then the luxe bracket that holds the band on one side broke mid-Feb 2022. my choices were to get a replacement Luxe with poor fitting bands or possibly break again. I got a discount on Inspire2 and very happy with it and other bands!
