I recently got the new fitbit Luxe. I had some questions I currently do not have the SPO2 function which was why I wanted this device. When will it be available on the device?
Additionally, I previously had a fitbit Alta and then an AltaHR. My last fitbit the hr broke because I was perspiring too much it broke my sensor and it would no longer charge. Do I have to turn on the water lock on my luxe, when I sweat? I’m concerned it will break again. I’m just inquiring to ensure I can take the best care of my new device.
thank you in advance,

Hi there, @fullcapri. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Regarding your sleep data inquiry, please bear in mind that sleep stages are based on heart rate data. Since you both just got the Fitbit Luxe, give the heart rate a few days to settle down. It does some calculations, looking at heart rate throughout the day and while you are sleeping, so it might just not have enough data to give a reasonable value yet.
For more information, see the following help articles
For the time being, we don't have a specific date on when will be the SpO2 feature to be available on Luxe devices. However, please note the feature is expected to come later this year.
As for the Water Lock, know most Fitbit devices are water-resistant to 50 meters. They're designed to be swimproof and stand up to even the sweatiest of workouts.
Keep in mind that not all of our accessory bands should get wet, like those made of leather, metal, and woven materials. For more information about wearing your Fitbit device, see our Wear and Care page.
Turn on the water lock setting when you're in water, for example showering or swimming, to prevent your screen from activating. When water lock is on, your screen locks, and the water lock icon appears at the bottom. Notifications and alarms still appear on your tracker, but you must unlock your screen to interact with them.
To turn on water lock, tap swipe down from the clock screen > tap Water Lock > firmly tap your screen twice. To turn off water lock, double-tap your screen again.
Note that water lock turns on automatically when you start a swim in the Exercise app.
Hope this answers your inquiry.

@MarreFitbit regarding SpO2 you didn't reply. Is the update just being released adding this promised feature?

Is the Fitbit water resistant up to 50 metres without the water lock on?
