Luxe alarms won't go off

I have previously owned 2 charge 2’s, this is my 3rd fitbit, its also the first one to disappoint me. I use my fit bits to track my sleep and my steps and as an alarm. This one is teacking my sleep and steps but try as i might i cant get my alarm to work. I only bought it on thursday and the last 2 days have been spent googling fixes. The dnd and sleep mode are both off, i have set the alarm for daily at 7:30 am but so far no alarm on friday, saturday or today. Has anyone had experience of this and know what i need to do or is it a return?  My screen also doesn't seem to work when its sets to screen awake, its a bit hit and miss with that one, not sure if theres a connection there. Any advice would be very welcome. Thank you

I just started having this same problem yesterday. No alarms go off, won’t sync to my phone, and nothing seems to be working that’s been listed here. Didn’t much like this watch from the beginning after having my Alta HR, I could set alarms in the app for that one at least and the touch screen wasn’t so buggy. Screw Fitbit, I’m getting an Apple Watch.

ErinNMorS    Did you sort you fitbit, looks like my days going to be taken up trying to fix mine AGAIN….i have gad a couple of months of it working properly and then i put it on charge on overnight on thursday night, took it off charge the next day, since then no alarm again. Im sick of this thing… theres no reason why it should suddenly stop working. I have noticed my daughters is on her drawers in her bedroom so i think she might be having problems with hers too. Its time fitbit recalled the luxes, theres obviously a problem with them

This has happened twice to me and now on my wife’s luxe (same model as mine.). What is with the programming on these?  This is not a problem that should recur month after month for years now.

Well here we go AGAIN ! I charged my fit bit on Sunday, alarm failed to go off on monday, i checked it took the wake thing off, today no alarm again, so I have now just removed the alarm and reinstalled it, lets see if it works tomorrow.  I must have gone through this at least 20 times, im sick of it. Its time fit bit admitted there is a problem with this watch and fixed it. I have gone from loving my first fit bit (no problems with that one) to hating this one. They  have lost me as a future customer. I really wish i had returned this when i had my first inclin that it was a crap product 3 weeks after buying it. Im going to go through my photos later for my screen savers from a previous time the alarm failed and ask them to put in an email all the fix answers they had before, im sick of wasting my days sitting on here googling ways to fix this or talking to a fit bit chat assistant. I have already lost at least a day of my life doing that. Have just about had enough  😡😡😡😡 can you tell im annoyed? My advice to anyone looking on forums before buying, dont buy the luxe. I have had a couple of people admire this lovely looking thing on my wrist and told them the same. It looks the business but doesnt work well enough

My alarms stopped working again over the weekend as well. Is this a synchronized problem or something??

I tried to restart my Fitbit and delete all my alarms to then re-add them. No dice.

So I tried to do a hard reset using the button on the USB charger (press 3 times, 1 second in between). That seemed to work when I tested setting an alarm 1 minute in the future to see if it would go off.

Time will tell now if the other alarms I setup pre-hard reset will go off...

Odds are good you will have problems again. Many of us do. Set your phone alarm as a back up for a while until you’re confident it works. But sadly you may not get to that point…

You bet I set my phone alarm this morning as insurance... Cannot afford to not get up in time for the early meetings.

This has happened to me at least 3 times since owning my Luxe—pre-ordered too so had it as soon as they would ship. Not sure if it is more frequent for others but it sounds like it!

Exact same issues with the luxe I just bought. The only reason I bought it was for he alarm and it only worked for about a week
