Luxe battery is draining in less than 3 hours

My luxe has always lasted around 4/5 days but today the battery was fully charged and then less then 3 hours later it was down to just 7%. I charged it again to full and it was down to 9% in a few hours again. 
it also hasn’t measured any steps, heart rate or anything today. Is there a way to fix it?

If your Luxe's battery isn't lasting as expected, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? 

 

In addition, please make sure the Fitbit app installed on your phone is up-to-date. Updating your Fitbit app might also help with your Fitbit Luxe's battery life. To do so, see How do I update the Fitbit app?

 

As for the issue with your data not being tracked, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Purchased my Luxe in December 2021. It worked great until the July Fitbit update. Now it will not hold a charge or display any options. I’ve done everything you have suggested in this thread. I’ve stopped wearing it and now searching for a better tracker.

Same exact thing started happening to me today - no steps, no activity tracking, and the battery completely drains within hours. I've had this for about 6 months.

Bought luxe in April. Since last update mine too says fully charged and in few hours dead. Example, charged 8pm last night.. looked at time at midnight.. this morning was dead. App shows no data at all since 8pm charge, like never put it back on. No reason to die in 4hours. I was in bed at midnight when I checked time.

Exact issue. This is 2nd time since last update this happened. It worked fine between last charge and this one, now did again. I just reset it so hopefully that helps. Sounds like bug in last update.

Yep, mine did after last system update, then did fine next charge but charged 8pm last night, checked time when to bed midnight. 6am dead. No data at all since 8pm update.

I watched a YouTube video last night and did a hard reset…it started working again. The hard rest took it back to the factory settings.

Honestly, this is not an excuse. Even if every battery-draining feature is turned on, the battery shouldn't drain in 3 hours. And if you need to turn off every feature to get the battery to last more than a few hours in a device that doesn't even have built-in GPS, then the device is defective. Why isn't Fitbit recalling this device and refunding us?

Mine did awesome as well as app stats but since last update...that's when
my issues started. From comments it seems to be when everyone starting
having issues exactly like mine! Weird. They need to do emergency update to
last edition at least until they can fix this one!

Same problem here, except the charging screen is stuck on it. Steadily loses about 5 percent battery every 10 minutes!
