Luxe battery is draining quickly

I charged my battery then went to bed. When I woke up, the battery was completely drained. It’s been reliable until now.

Any clues what may have happened?

Thanks, Marre. The problem wasn’t extending battery life. The problem was I charged it up to 98%, then put it back on my wrist before going to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, the battery was completely discharged to 0%. It was not connected to my phone as I had turned the Bluetooth off. I was wondering what could cause it to drain overnight.

Same problem here. Everything was fine until last night. But today I had to charge it twice -- and it's down to 8% again. Won't track steps or heart rate either.

I am having the same issue.  I notice it seems to be tied in with my updating to firmware version 58.20001.171.50.  I reported the issue, but I don't think they believe me.  I am told to just recharge it, which is really frustrating.  I used to get 5 - 6 days without charging.  Now I get 1.5 - 2 days max.  The person I was chatting with actually told me to MOVE MY ARM LESS OFTEN to help extend battery life.

I charged my luxe this morning at 7:30 it was at 96% now at 2:30 it's at 3%.  I've been mostly sitting at my desk all day, had some notifications but that is it.  this is the first time this has happened.

It has nothing to do with proper charging, or useage. When it charges fully but drains in less than an hour, something occurred with the latest update or the Luxe is not a good watch to buy

Bwahaha!!! Move your arm less!  Rich backward humor. Get FitBit to move more but move your arm less. Make it make sense!

I’m sad to say, I am inclined to agree. I love the small size but it’s been lackluster.

I have restarted my Luxe and now everything works fine. Battery lasts 4
days or so (got it in April of 2021, so quite decent IMO), monitors
everything it used to. Maybe it'll work for you too?

You could also try slowing down you heart rate and looking at a clock
instead of your watch. If that doesn't work, I hear the battery holds WAY
longer if you don't wear your watch.

Seriously though, have you tried simply restarting it? It worked for me:
I'm back to ~4 days of charge.

I tried the restart. Didn't help. Very disappointed in battery issue.
Purchased mine in Spring 2021 also.

I did the reset a few times.  Did not help.  Support send very hung up on thinking I am trying to get a large discount on a new one or a free new one.  I am not, what I keep telling them I want is for them to recognize that there is likely an issue with their firmware.  They won't even entertain this thought.

I actually did try not wearing the watch 🤣.  No effect.  The battery still drains faster than before the firmware update, which again makes me think it's tried in with that.

Liz756:  I am inclined to think that bots auto reply to us. I get the feeling that FitBit recognizes that the Luxe is an inferior device and that’s why they don’t bother with support or trying to fix things.  I regret spending money on something that works only ok. Instead of being worried you are looking for a freebie, they should be offering compensation to us for selling junk. How about a good trade-in value to offset an upgrade cost?  I’d go for that at this point. I’m disappointed.
