Is anyone else struggling with luxe since the latest update ? I don’t get a warning anymore my luxe is low in charge and I can’t get a full charge it seems to take forever now and runs out of charge extremely quick - it’s quite frustrating?

My partner and I are also experiencing this problem with both of our Luxe devices. Support has been unhelpful and borderline rude. They better address, or at least admit this is a problem or we will be leaving the brand.

Only waste of time answers from Fitbit!  No solutions!!  Adios!!!

I was out with a friend last night who was remarking that her Fitbit was not staying charged, and she wears an Inspire 2.  So, this definitely IS a Fitbit problem!  I explained to her what I've learned here in this community, so she at least understands what is going on now.  We are both long-time Fitbit wearers that are frustrated like so many others here.

Hi there my fit luxe is **ahem**ting to bed too. It has been randomly shutting off and will not turn back on until it's connected to the charger. It always has lots of battery life left. It shows over 40%, sometimes over 69%, if it comes back on it only works for a short period of time.

Are you suggesting this product is only good for a max of 2 years? That's what it seems like...

What would you suggest?

Then it is the latest firmware update! (Fitbit responding that an app update is unrelated to battery issues is so rude) (edit- I noticed that fitbit edited their initial response 1st stating the app update is unrelated) Either way, something was done on fitbits end thats is causing everyone to have this battery problem! My luxe was on the charger saying 80% , I took it off the charger for a minute, then decided I might as well charge it some more and when I put it back on it had drained to 74%!! In just a couple minutes! Is fitbit going to acknowledge this problem?

I too have a problem with my Fitbit Luxe not holding it's charge only since the update in October. I now have to charge every 1-2 days instead of managing to get 5 days between charges prior to the update. I have tried restarting and checked all my settings are as they should be but nothing fixes the problem.  I too am thinking I will have to buy a new watch and will be  switching brands as Fitbit are ignoring the problem!!

exact situation after update.....agree it is all because of the update. Have tried all suggestions...I only have one option left.. The trash bin. No more fit bit for me. DONE My luxe is dead dead dead.. started with battery drain. Then a full battery which would last about an hour.. Then the fitbit fixed logo on screen...After attempted reset with original charger and disconnection of blue tooth...dead... It will vibrate but remains black, NO more fit bit and won't buy google fit either since the problems began with them. Anyone like  the Galaxy watch? I have a garmin forerunner for running only so want an everyday watch

I am having a similar issue. In the past week my Luxe has shut off while wearing it, once during the day and again while I was asleep. When I placed it on the charge, battery indicator said 78%. Minutes later, it said 25%. 40 minutes later, I took it off the charger at 56%. As I was trouble shooting the problem with it off the charger, the battery indicator on the Luxe said 90%. I've had the Luxe 18 months. The battery issue seems to have started with the latest firmware update.

Sounds familiar. Interesting that so many are seeing these problems after
the update. Company says it's my battery. Mine is also less than two years
old. Totally not dependable.

I am also having similar battery issues as other have described, with my luxe since it updated last week. It is just over two years old (2tears is end if warrantee in the uk) and I have not experienced any battery issues till now. I am beginning to suspect this update contains a deliberate bug so that devices over a certain age stop working, to boost sales. Given the price when I purchased, this is totally unacceptable- I have no need or desire for a newer model/more features. Given that I have experienced issues with every Fitbit I have ever owned and needed a replacement with each one, I’m looking at alternatives. Disgusted with ongoing issues!!!😡

This does seem to be a problem for a number of us.

Fitbit have released an app and watch update for android.  I have just done the update, the battery icon is back in the app and synced to watch. I am keeping fingers crossed that this sorts the problem but too early to say.

I installed the latest firmware update 12/15. My Fitbit Luxe has not randomly shut down since. The update seems to have fixed the issue.

Actually,  when I installed the latest patch "194.91" on Dec 15,  the same battery issue happened, even I just charged it to  100%. That is terrible.

Like everyone else, nothing has helped. Now my time is wrong, and it won't sync to the right time. I have restarted my Luxe fitbit at least 4 times in the last few months, nothing has changed. I have been a loyal fitbit wearer since their inception. I think that over 3 months is long enough time to expect fitbit to correct the matter.

My wife and I are having these same issues and apparently your company isn't doing anything to help. We'll be leaving your services.

Like everyone else here I also have this problem. I had a recent Fitbit firmware update in December and now my Luxe dies all the time. I finally googled it and found this thread. Thank goodness it isn't just me! I no longer get low battery warnings either. I've followed all the reset and notification steps with no luck at all. What has happened?

I agree. Unreliability is not acceptable and I don’t appreciate the sudden failure to track my steps, give accurate sleep readings, or sustain battery life. Lately I have to charge at least 2x a day. I hate to leave Fitbit but there are excellent alternatives that I am exploring. I love the discreet size of my Luxe, but looks like a Fitbit is abandoning this product. So I am abandoning Fitbit.
