Good Morning
I have a Luxe and the battery drains very quickly. When I first got it, I didn't have to charge it for approximately 7 days, not I have to charge it almost daily.
I have tried all the steps to try to increase the battery life and I still have the same issue. I bought the Luxe in June of 2023 I believe.
Do these just eventually start to drain the battery quicker or is there another way to solve the problem, it is really annoying when I am out for a walk and the battery on my Luxe suddenly dies.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi, @Kirstinmaclaren , it sounds like your Luxe is about 2 years old. It probably still has a lot of life left in it, but at this point it is very unlikely to hold a charge for anything like what it did when it was new. Sadly, all rechargeable batteries have a limited life span - that’s just the laws of physics.
Moving forward you can probably get best results from your Luxe if you charge it daily, whether it seems to need it at not, even if it is just for 15 minutes or so while you are showering etc getting ready for work in the morning or maybe in the evening when you are reading or relaxing in front of the TV. At this stage you can maximise the remaining life of the battery by avoiding deep discharges (and especially allowing it to die suddenly!). Just a short stint on the charger every day (or definitely before your walk) will help keep it going. Unfortunately, as rechargeable batteries age, they can discharge surprisingly suddenly. As they age charging more often gives best battery results.
I know you mention that you have tried the steps to increase battery life but I am also sharing them here for anyone else who might need the tips.
Short answer: give your Fitbit 15-30 minutes daily charge and it will still be there for you for quite some time yet!
