Luxe battery short life

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

3 or 4 years ago , I bought a luxe for my daughter. 1year maybe 2 years ago it stopped working due to its battery died very quickly. My daughter really like this tracker and I bought another one for her at that time. Last week, the new luxe stopped working again. Same story at the first one.i am wondering if luxe can only work for 2 years, probably less than 2 years?

Hi there @Nelson_Luo! It's great to see you here in the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for letting us know about this situation. I'm sorry to hear that it is the second Luxe that is not working.

Have you already followed all the tips from this article? (Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?)

I suggest you restart the Luxe too:

  • Connect your device to the charging cable.
  • Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  • You can also restart your device in another way. Disconnect the device from the charging cable, wait one second, then reconnect. Repeat this process 3 times within an 8-second interval. After that, wait 10 seconds for the device to restart.

Please check if the Luxe has a firmware update pending too.

thank you for your reply. I did everything that i can do. However, it doesn't work anymore. I believe there are some issue of battery lift of fitbit tracker. My experience told me that the battery lift can't last for over two years. Myself used Charge 5 and I am currently using the second one. Because the first Charge 5 had the same battery issue almost 1 or two years ago. Fortunately, the second one is still working. I hope it can survive longer.

I’ve followed all advice to extend my luxe battery life but it hasn’t helped. My purchase was in July 2023 (not even 2 years) and battery is lasting for 3 days max. When battery low you can’t even see time. I don’t think this is very good. Surely Fitbit life should longer than 17months??  Interested in reply
