Luxe case color

Just received my Luxe, and so far I like it very much. Only question is about the soft gold case—mine is more of a shiny brass color. The buckle is soft gold, but the case is a very different color. Is this typical?

That was my reaction with the Versa series when they came out.  I got a Versa 1, and I was sent a Rose Gold one, which on the computer looked more like a pink to me (I am NOT a pink girl, typically!).  However, once I saw it in person, I LOVED it because it was more of a muted pink/purple, which I LOVE!  

Since then, I've never gone by the pictures, I prefer to see the device in person.

I got the polar white with the gold case and sold gold buckle on the strap. I think because the buckle is satin and the case is polished, it looks a bit brassy but I’m going to order to gorjana strap which is also polished and I think it’s so it matches that.
