I tried to start my exercise log for an hour  and only logs 15 minutes. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

Hi there, @MartaMonci. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Luxe. I understand where your concern is coming from.

While reading your post I was wondering how you tracked your exercise? Did you manually started or you used SmartTrack to do so?

Please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit Luxe is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab , then tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-recognize.

You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Keep in mind that you can also use the Exercise app to start and stop a workout. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Hello,  I just upgraded from a Fitbit Charge 3 to a Luxe.   I'm using thy SmartTrack feature but the Luxe doesn't seem.to pick up exercise the way my charge 3 did.   I did a 25 minute bike ride yesterday and it logged 13 minutes.    Tonight I did a 30 minute aerobic workout and while it registered my elevated heart rate it didn't recognizer that I was exercising at all.

Is this a known problem with the Luxe?   Will it be remedied?  Thanks!

Hi! I'm having the same issue.

Did a 45 mins workout this afternoon, Luxe recorded a 13 mins one.

I deleted the automatically-tracked workout and tried recording it manually, but calories are definitely wrong (according to Fitbit i burned more during a 36 minutes stroll with a lower heart rate...it doesn't really look spot on, does it?)

I'm rather unhappy with my Luxe. It looks nice, but my old Charge 2 worked better.
