Luxe doesn’t sync any more after upgraded Fitbit app

I’ve been using Fitbit luxe for a few years. Previously when I upgraded the firmware, the old luxe’s battery was constantly drained and then I got a replacement. So I don’t have the latest firmware on my new luxe.

I updated Fitbit app last week and since then nothing was syncing. Luxe is still paired, the sync now button turns into a forever moving circle after I press it.

I attempted the following fixes:

1. Restart Fitbit luxe

2. uninstall Fitbit app, restart iPhone, install Fitbit app again

3. Forget luxe in Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth again and pair

I’m out of ideas, please help.

iPhone 13 Pro: IOS 18.5

fitbit app: 4.46

luxe firmware: 20001.151.16

I’ve got the same thing it happens every day intermittently. I purchased a new Fitbit about a year ago and updated phone as well. It’s irritating. I wish I had an answer for you. I don’t know about Fitbit anymore.

Same for my android. Phone is Droid 15. Battery ran out.recharged. Will pair but not synch. Occasionally, I get a settings message that fitbit device will read  everything on phone --deny or allow. Choosing either makes no difference. Message reappears x10..

Perform the recommended steps. No joy.

I'm having the same problem. Not much help from the Fitbit user community I guess. Pretty frustrating.

From another thread

After slavishly performing the canned instructions from Google every day for 14 days and getting nowhere, I kept seeing my phone saying I was paired with Luxe. On a dare, I deleted the Luxe from my Bluetooth devices -- because that was the only move left.  Voila! My same Luxe wanted to use Bluetooth. Phone had kept my old Luxe connection, but I couldn't tell the difference because phone stupidly doesn't show info about *when* Luxe was connected.
My gripe about these "It just works" apps is lack of information. If we had error codes, dates, and times, we would know that Luxe connected *last year* before my battery ran out is not the Luxe I'm trying to connect this year. Grr.
Steps:
Go to Bluetooth
See list of devices connected
Find Luxe. Use the gear to disconnect (not forget, not unpair)
Your Luxe should immediately offer to pair.
Go forward from there.
