Luxe doesn't track auto exercise

I tried everything to get my Fitbit Luxe to track auto exercise, I.e. walking. This only works intermittently, but lately not at all. I did all of the following in various orders:

  • Updated app, logged off and back in again
  • Reset Fitbit
  • Switched auto recognition on and off
  • Disconnected Bluetooth and reconnected
  • Switched phone off and on again ... 

All these steps several times ... it just won't work. It's hugely disappointing that such a basic feature is so unreliable. The Luxe cost a ton of money, it's really just bad. 

 

What else can I do? Where can I go for a product exchange?
