Luxe has stopped working

I got a Luxe for Christmas. It has been great until this weekend when it just stopped working! I thought maybe the battery had died so I attached it to the charger overnight and NOTHING! I don’t know what happened but I’m very upset. This was an expensive watch that I’ve had for less than 2 months. How do I fix this or can it be replaced?

Hi there, @LongtimeWearer. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe has stopped working. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling as your Luxe is two months old. I'm here to help!

As per the description of your post, it could be a sign the contacts need cleaning. Dust and debris can accumulate over time. Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Also, bear in mind that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa Luxe. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

Hi, @LongtimeWearer, welcome to the community, your best first step is to check your Luxe is charged Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center provides advice & guidance. In my experience, if the battery is exhausted it may need to be on a live USB socket for at least 60 minutes before you see a sign of life. Check the Fitbit app on your phone, if your Luxe is carrying a charge it should appear in the top left corner of the "Today" screen.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
