Luxe is not showing the correct battery %

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Luxe only has 4% battery left overnight. When I connected it to OEM charger in the morning, it showed 53%??? I tried to reset my Luxe, it's still showing 56%. Fitbit app shows 4%.

I have ongoing issue with battery % display while charging. It constantly stuck at 76%, after I reset Luxe it would then show 90+%.

Please help

Hi there, @Joogie. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is not showing the correct battery percentage. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

It sounds like your Luxe wasn't syncing properly when you saw the 4% on the Fitbit app. Note that the battery level on the Fitbit app updates every time you sync. That means that if your Luxe hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync. Have you tried syncing your Luxe?

Since your Luxe is not updating the battery level while on the charger, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

On a side note, please find below some tips to best charge Fitbit devices:

  • Use only genuine Fitbit charging cables
  • Use only UL-certified wall chargers
  • Avoid USB battery packs
  • Charge at room temperature

For charging purposes, your charging cable or your base station can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

  • A computer
  • A Wall A/C to USB adapter, commonly found with smartphones
  • A DC to USB adapter (vehicle power port)

Thanks for your response. My issue is not about syncing with the app. My Luxe dropped to 4% and as soon as I connected to the charger (genuine, original charging cable) it jumped to 53% on display. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Ugh I’m having the same problem and it’s driving me insane! Thought it was the charger, so got a new one on Amazon (needed overnight delivery as this charger is not available in stores near me), now ordering an official Fitbit charger, but don’t have high hopes. It also seems like the chargers never really connect and I have to hold it! Or I need to buy a whole new tracker and not sure if I trust a 3rd Luxe, but love the gold bracelet band. I also tried to get a broken band replaced in May and they can’t find the one I sent back via ups with confirmation of delivery to Fitbit and they won’t sent the new one until they find the old one. 🙄🙄🙄

Hi, I‘m also having the same problem, since approx. 6 months…

So I did some more research and seems like most people with Luxe have to get a new one after 2 years and I’m at that point. Suck it up or keep trying to work with Fitbit or try Garmin?

You are so right! My Fitbit Luxe is about to reach that 2 years mark!

It makes no sense to me...  That night before I went to sleep, battery was at 35% I thought I would charge it when I get up the next morning. The battery drained all the way to 4% overnight??? I set up to have notifications turned off from 10pm to 6am, no way it would drop to 4%. The moment I connected to the charger it showed 53%.

I am not spending money on another Luxe, and I am already out of warranty.

Oh yeah... And again while charging it takes forever.... Battery display shows 57%, I reset it by pressing the button near the USB cable, instantly the display shows 95% battery...so how would I know how long I need to charge my Fitbit as it never shows an accurate battery level, and how do I know if the battery is actually holding charges?
