Luxe is not tracking my calories accurately

I got a new Luxe a couple of days ago, replacing an Inspire that died.

The calories burnt on the app seem to be inaccurate. Today, I’ve walked 8k+ steps and my calories burnt are showing as 667. On my previous device this would have been around 2,400 calories.

I’ve contacted Fitbit help on chat (twice) and once on the phone and they keep explaining how calories include BMR, steps; exercise, etc, which is consistent with the problem I have (i.e. it’s not tracking all of that).

I’ve rebooted my Luxe, my phone and deleted it from my Bluetooth and repairing the device with my phone but nothing is working.

I have MyFitnessPal and Fitbod linked to my Fitbit app, not sure if that’s anything to do with it.

Any advice will be gratefully received!

Thanks for this, looks like it stopped counting them from noon on Thursday to noon on Friday which seems to account for both days being off. It’s working now - appreciate you taking the time to answer.

1)   Check your weight.  Make sure it's not entered way too low, maybe like you put a decimal point in wrong place.

2)  Is heart rate turned on?  It can be turned off in settings.  On phone app, look at daily heart rate chart and see if anything is recorded, and if it goes up when you were exercising.

3)  Look at daily calorie burn chart.  Is it all constant - the same all day as it was overnight?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
