Luxe is not tracking my heart rate accurately

I recently was sent a replacement Luxe because the menstrual  tracking stopped working on my original. Now I’m having two additional issues. First, the screen stays on all night despite being on manual screen wake. This is of course draining the battery. 
Second, the heart rate monitor stays on when placed on a table face up. It states there is a heart rate. 

For both issues I’ve tried toggling the screen wake and heart rate settings off/on. I have also tried restarting my Luxe, clearing user data, and removing/ reconnecting to app. No luck. 

Anyone else have these issues?

I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and they've already assisted you. If the steps that our team has provided did not work, please feel free to contact them back for further assistance. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly.

My fairly new Luxe fit bit is a piece of useless junk. It credits me with 600 or more steps for just getting out of bed in the am! The battery drains every 3 days, it no longer vibrates reminders or tracks sleep.

I had ordered an additional band but will be returing it at once, since the luxe will not meet my neds. Too bad my fitbit 1 finally gave up the ghost.

Guess the trash an will get the whole lot.

I will tell anyone who asks that mine was a total waste of money and time.

Hi there, @cmw123. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconveniences you've been experiencing with your Luxe. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.

Regarding the steps, 
do you have MobileTrack also linked to your Fitbit account? If you do, please note that MobileTrack could be tracking those extra steps. To verify this, please in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > then tap Devices. In this section you'll see your Versa 3 and below your phone (in case MobileTrack is indeed connected). 

If the above describes your situation, you can remove MobileTrack by tapping on the phone's icon and then select "Remove From Account". 

In addition, I'd suggest to confirm that the following are correct in the Fitbit app:

In regards to your Luxe not vibrating for your alerts and notifications, I'd recommend checking if your Versa 3 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

Speaking about your sleep data, is your Luxe syncing properly? Is your Luxe showing your sleep data on the device itself?
