Why is there approximately 1000 steps difference between my Fitbit and my IPhone app? I walk the same distance every day and for the same length of time - always such a difference. Thanks

@Matada Your Fitbit is on your wrist and records steps via the motion of your wrist. Your iPhone isn’t always moving with you. If it’s in a pocket or a bag, it’s going to miss some steps.

Hi there, @Matada. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the step discrepancy between your Luxe and your phone. We're here to help!
As @Heather-S has already mentioned, the steps between your Luxe and phone will vary as the Luxe is worn on your wrist whereas your phone is in your pocket and the movement on those placements are different even if you carry your phone with you all the time.
Nevertheless, to make sure that your Luxe is accurately tracking your steps, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:
Since we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
