Luxe is taking forever to sync and sometimes DOESN’T sync iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14.6

Anyone else having serious connection issues? This is my 8th Fitbit. Out of the box, I’ve never had any issues until this Luxe that was delivered today. First it couldn’t fully install the update, so I disconnected it and started over. I think I got the update to finish… But now it takes more than 3 minutes to sync on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14.6, and sometimes it simply can’t sync. When I go to change clock faces, I get a pop up message about Unable to Connect to Device. It goes away quickly and I can continue, but with numerous more annoying pop ups with the same message. I tried turning on notifications to display on my Fitbit from my other apps, and only 3 show up. On my last Fitbit (Inspire HR), I had maybe 12 or so apps that I could allow notifications from. The only Fitbit that was worth anything as far as I’m concerned was my Alta. It still works and I think I’m going back to it. When it goes, I seriously doubt I’m up for more Fitbits. 7 failed Fitbits in 5 years, including this new Luxe, is ridiculous.

I bought the luxe to replace my Alta HR that sadly died a few weeks ago. Loved the Alta! I am enjoying the skinnier profile of the luxe, along with the water resistance.

 

I am having the /exact/ same issues that you describe. When I go into my Bluetooth settings (iPhone) I can watch the luxe disconnect/connect every few seconds. Notifications are hit and miss. I only use text/call notifications. If I’m on the phone for a while it will vibrate every few minutes to let me know that I’m on a call... or not at all, whichever it’s in the mood for.

 

It seems that Fitbit didn’t quite get all the kinks worked out before they shipped out the luxe, even with pushing back the release date. I am really hoping this will be fixed in an update soon. It is disappointing that so many people are having these issues and Fitbit hasn’t acknowledged it directly.

Just got it set up and it’s doing all the same lol things yours is!

Yes, I’ve noticed all those things too. Hopefully they can get them worked out soon. Very disappointing. It’s is good to know it’s not just one or two of these… definitely a widespread issue! Thanks for your input!
