Luxe is tracking my kayaking as a HIIT workout, but also starts using GPS to "track"? Any ideas how to resolve this?

  1. Is it being auto-recognized as HIIT, or did you use the Exercise App and mean to call it something else?
  2. What is it that you would like to happen?  Do you want it auto-recognized as something else, not recognized at all, use the Exercise App to record it as Kayaking, or something else ?

I assume you don't want a GPS map.  I don't know how familiar you are with the Exercise App.  I am going to assume you are familiar with it.  For several of the choices, such as canoeing, kayaking, outdoor activity, and such, there is an option often on by default to turn GPS on by default.  To change this and several other options, after selecting the activity, swipe up from little arrow at bottom of screen to see all the other options specific to this activity.  However, I don't understand how this would be happening same time as it being called HIIT.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It's not auto recognizing the exercise - I am manually selecting kayaking from my watch and then starting kayaking. However, when I go to the app to review my exercise, it shows a HIIT workout was done without a gps map (I do want GPS on), not a kayak workout. Any ideas?

The same is happening to me! I designate the activity as kayaking, but it switches it to HIIT. Has done it three times since May 12.

I wonder if it is because I do not take my phone with me in the boat, so it doesn't have the phone's GPS to use. I have an Inspire 3.
