Luxe is tracking kayaking as "HIIT

There's a previous thread on this with no resolution (thread is too old to reply to https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Luxe/Luxe-is-tracking-kayaking-as-HIIT/td-p/5599843 ), but I did find a workaround.

Right now, if you tank kayaking manually from your Luxe, when it syncs it shows up as "HIIT" with no distance/pace indoor map.

But! I found that you can go into the workout in the app after sync, hit edit, and in the activity box, delete "HIIT." Then type just "ka" and wait for "kayaking" to appear below, then tap on it (typing out kayaking and pressing enter WON'T change anything when you save). Now hit "save" and your map and distance info magically appears!

Annoying to have to do this every time, but it works.

Sam, I have this same issue. I tried your work around but it doesn’t let me edit the name of the workout, only the start & end time I can edit. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Cindy

Can you post a screenshot of your edit screen? Mine looks like this. I just delete this box, and replace (selection

Huh. I wouldn't have thought the Apple version of the app would be so much different. This is an iPhone, right?

Yes, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I’m stumped on what to do. On other days I have added a manual kayaking with the same timeframe and it it comes up with kayaking but no map of where I kayaked and then delete the HIIT.

Formerly, I'd have said "just use the web interface in a browser" to do it. But they just sunset that and it's app-only now.

The Android interface is basically just the web interface packaged into an app. I'd figured that the iOS version was the same, but I guess that doesn't meet some Apple rule about looking like a native app or something.

I guess you're stuck... sorry

Thanks, I appreciate you trying!  I have to say I’m not too much of a fan so far of their move to Google platform.
