Hi everyone,
Really eager to know if anyone else experiences the same problems and knows what's going on.
Just got my new fitbit luxe and using it almost for two weeks now.
The device works just fine, until i get inside my office. My heartrate climbs up to 140/150/160 when i'm sitting behind my desk. It will track these ridiculous heartrates all day long and confuses my working day for a whole lot of cardio. My job isn't that stressful, just checked it out myself and my heartrate should be around 60.
Once outside, or at home, or just anywhere else, the luxe works just fine! I really think something is ratting in the office. Resetting and other general suggestions won't work. Does anyone know about wifi/bluetooth or any other signals in common working spaces that might affect the fitbit? I can't find anything known about this.
Appreciate your help!

Hi Maria,
Of course I looked at those articles, but it doesn't answer my question why these problems only occur inside my office. Like only here, in this particular building. What could cause these problems?
It's not that i wear the wristband differently when i'm working, it's not (freezing) cold inside this room. It's displaying a heartrate, but it's way too high. Restarting the device doesn't work. Why does the luxe only seem to get troubled in here, and otherwise working perfectly?
Does this ever happen?

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes, I'm just sitting here and my Luxe tells me that my pulse is 100-125, but when I take my pulse manually, it's around 60 bpm. Restarting the Luxe seems to clear the issue temporarily, but it keeps happening.

I'm having the same issue. Mine jumps to 150+ throughout the day while sitting in my office - when I check it manually it's around 75. It only happens in my office. Last week it counted 3 hours of sedentary meetings as 300 zone minutes and 900 calories burned! (If only it qere that easy to burn calories!!) Has anyone given a better answer than read some unhelpful articles?

I have the same problem - when I’m at my desk (home or work), it shows heart rate of 150+, sometimes even over 200. I also compare it to manual rate & it is much much lower.
I wonder if it is interference from other devices or if there is something about having your wrist on a desk.
This issue is incredibly annoying, I’ve also done all the recommended things (forums & call agent). It completely skews my stats & readiness score. Makes me wonder why I bother in the first place, if none of it is accurate!

I have had the same issue as well since I got it. It makes me wonder sometimes how much it is not accurate. I have tried resetting, moving it, loosening it, tightening it and it still does it. One night it said my heart rate was 120 and I knew if it was I would feel it. I checked it with my pulse ox and BP cuff at the same time and they both read in the 80s. It was minutes before the Luxe came down to match them.
Today it said my heart rate was in the 150s for 10 minutes while I was sitting in my chair relaxing. I didn't notice it until several hours later when I checked why I had so many zone minutes. There is no way my heart rate was that high for that long without me feeling it. It makes me want to get something else.
