I sometimes lie awake at night for a half hour or longer and in the morning my Fitbit shows that I was sleeping in that time.
How does the Fitbit know the between lying awake and sleeping? Is there something I can do (like tap the Fitbit) to show that I’m awake. I really want an accurate reading.

Hi there, @Allibamma. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. I understand how important is to you to get accurate sleep readings.
Please note that when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep. For example if you're watching TV or reading. For more information, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
