Luxe is tracking too many steps

Hello,

In the past few days my Luxe has been recording over 1,000 more steps than I've actually been taking. Today it recorded 2,000 extra steps when I was just driving. 1) How do I fix it? (The Fitbit is obviously not helpful if it is giving me inaccurate information)

2) Why did this happen in the first place? And why so suddenly?

I already wear the Fitbit loosely and I have it accurately set to using the correct hand. I even tried adding in a "driving" activity to hope it would remove those supposed "steps" from the count. I've reset the device. Nothing has worked. I've looked at past questions and answers to this type of question from years ago and tried their suggestions, nothing. Thanks for any help provided.
