Luxe is under reporting calories for swimming and bike compared to Inspire 2

I just upgraded from an Inspire 2 to a the new Fitbit Luxe.   The calories while swimming or biking are about one third of what I saw wearing the Inspire 2.  I have the latest Fitbit software release.

 

Have others experienced this?  I like the look/feel of the Luxe band and bracelet, but will have to return the device if it can't calculate calories accurately.
