Luxe is vibrating when I make an outgoing call

I like receiving a notification on my Luxe when I'm getting an incoming call. But I also get a notification when I make an outgoing call, which I'm finding quite annoying. Is there a way to switch this off just for outgoing calls?

Hi @Jaimb  I have a Luxe myself, but despite having notifications on and getting the for incoming calls, I've not gotten any for outgoing calls. I'm using Android. Have you tried restarting your Luxe, as that normally takes care of a glitch.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Hi there, @Jaimb. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Luxe. I understand how annoying that can be.

As @Odyssey13, I myself have a Luxe and Versa 3 and neither of the two have that behavior. Please try @Odyssey13's advice and see if the restart does the trick.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend setting up notifications again. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Tell your phone to "forget" the Bluetooth connection to your Fitbit device:
    1. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
    2. Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    3. Find the option to forget the device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again, then sync your Fitbit device.

This didn’t help. I still get a notification saying “Active Call” when my outgoing calls have been answered. It doesn’t go away until the phone call ends, or I swipe across the luxe screen (which I can’t do if my other hand is using the phone).

I tried restarting the device. I also tried updating the luxe. I also tried forgetting the Bluetooth device, then connecting again. Still the same thing happens.

I’m using an iPhone

I have the similar problem.  During any active call, the Luxe vibrates every 5 minutes.  It seems like some setting intended to distinguish an active call, for whatever reason.  It is driving me crazy, I'm on the phone all day for work and it is a huge distraction and annoyance.  My Inspire HR did not do this.  Can it be turned off somehow?

I’m having the same problem. Why does the luxe think I need to be reminded every couple of minutes then I’m on a call? I know that I’m on it. I don’t need this reminder. Infuriating “feature.” As a bonus, this also seems to be destroying the battery life.

^that, not then

and by destroying I mean that I was on the phone for a total of about 2 hours today, which dropped the battery from about 79% to 6%

Not the answer that works.  How would an active call notification even be needed?  It needs to be removed. It’s annoying when on a call.
