Luxe keeps lighting up at night

Hi.

My fitbit lights up randomly at night. I use the Split clock and this turns purple instead of its usual color. What does this mean?

Hi, @Evy1234 welcome to the community. You can disable clock screen illumination by setting a sleep schedule in "settings" on your Lux, this disables auto illumination and notifications while in "sleep" mode. To quote from the manual -

"When the sleep mode setting is on:
l Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders
are muted.
l The screen's brightness is set to dim.
l The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
To wake Luxe, firmly tap the screen twice.
l
The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick
settings.
Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a
sleep schedule. For more information, see "Adjust
settings" on the facing page
You can't turn on the do not disturb setting and sleep
mode at the same time."

I encourage you to review the Lux Manual at Fitbit User Manuals - Fitbit Help Center

The spilt clock screen numerals should be as illustrated but if you have the display setting at dim you may miss part of the numeral, particularly at night.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Thanks for your reply, but this is not the case. My fitbit is always on sleepmode when I'm in bed. The clock actually turns purple, it has nothing to do with screen brightness or so. It looks like this is an alarm for something. But I can't figure out what for.

Hi there, @Evy1234. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this up. We'll be glad to continue assisting you and see why your Luxe is lighting up during your sleep.

Thanks for confirming that your Luxe is always in sleep mode as @Gr4ndp4 has suggested.

Since you mentioned that you think this might be an alarm... By any chance, do you see any message on the screen while it was vibrating/lighting up? If there was a "Look Alive" message, please note it is part of your alarms and it seems like you have the Smart Wake feature enabled. Smart Wake attempts to find the best time to wake you starting 30 minutes before the alarm time you set. For more information, see How do I set an alarm on my Fitbit device?

If the above doesn't describe your issue, I know that you mentioned that you don't own Alexa, but please note I've seen some cases very similar to yours when it results in Alexa being the one making these alarms going off at the wrong time. So, please note that this might also be Alexa alarms. Know that the alarms and timers you set with Alexa are separate from those you set in the Alarms app. For more information, see How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

Nevertheless, if none of the above helps, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Lastly, make sure that your Luxe is up-to-date.
