Same problem. My device shuts down several times a day now, usually when I am in the middle of a workout. When I put it on the charger it reboots but shows the battery at a much higher percentage than I know it really is. I've contacted Fitbit and tried all the fixes suggested to me to no avail. I was told someone would email me with further steps to take but that was 3 days ago and I've gotten nothing. My device is 16 months old and was working perfectly until the app update.

What’s the solution? I see I’m not the only one with this problem

Same! My device also says it has Version 58.20001.188 and I'm not able to update it to the latest.
FitBit will randomly die throughout the day, but show 65% or 70% as soon as I connect it to the charger.

Do you think this may be related to the update that happened? This is exactly when my Fitbit started having issues

I think so, my Fitbit started having this issue after I updated the software.

Will you be getting back to this group with a solution? I've already shared with you a week ago that support was of no help as the chat just randomly stopped/froze midway through.
This is clearly a common problem for many of us based on the response I've got.
Been a FitBit fan for years - your silence is kinda telling me to switch to Apple Watch after all this time.

I have the older firmware too, unable to update to the more recent version. All "help" told me was if I don't see a pink button to update then the update isn't available for me. It seems to me that everyone who has a Fitbit should be able to get all updates so I don't understand why it isn't available for me. 😡

The issue has gotten worst and the watch is unwearable. I will most likely cancel my subscription and find a new watch that actually works.

i feel your pain. My Luxe doing the exact same random blank screen. only way to revive is to place on charger. And as you say, Battery % does not agree.with app. Each sync changes the % of battery. I called customer support 2 times on case # 5037630. Support team could not offer any support. and ended my calls with " we have done all we can do, have nice day". Meanwhile i get this recurring issue weekly. Garmin starting to look appealing.

I'm having the same problem for a month or so. Did you find a solution?

What is the solution for the Luxe randomly shutting off and the battery level not being accurate? It appears many who have a Luxe have the same problem. Is it just tough stuff get a new one? I've used a Fitbit for about 8 years. My Luxe is a couple of years old. I'll be glad to get a new fitness watch of another brand if Fitbit has no solutions for their products. Very frustrating.

No solution yet. Thought maybe was the charger I was using, so switched to lowest amp/voltage i could find. Okay for few days, then locked up again. Put back into charger and the luxe screen came back on and showed 21% battery , then after reseting , showed 78% . And the appp showed "medium batttery". 3 different % battery levels. My solution is to place in charger every other day.

Not only do I have the same issue-- it shuts down, and when I go to charge it, it will say any number of outlandish things, like 80% battery, but then you check again and it's 7%, and 5 min later it's 45%... totally inaccurate.
NOW-- i have a 2nd issue-- sometimes it shows the WRONG TIME. And I have to sync it a couple of times for it to show the right time.
To summarize-- before a recent update-- batter lasted at least 5 days, charging status was accurate on both the watch and the app, and time was always accurate.
NOW-- time is sometimes inaccurate, I don't trust the battery status, and the watch turns off possibly daily, definitely several times a week, and the battery does drain faster than before but who really knows bc the battery level doesn't show in the app aside from "low-medium-full"
FRUSTRATED
