Luxe keeps turning off

  • My Luxe is less than 2.5 years old. About 2 months ago it started turning off randomly, sometimes 2 days after charging, sometimes 2 hours. I have to plug it in to turn it on when that happens. What's weird is that I have notification email set when my battery reaches 30%, and not once lately did fitbit even reach battery that low, so I don't think it is a battery issue. I tried the advice of changing the clock face like I saw in another post, but nothing bas changed. Any suggestions please? Currently the situation is unbearable as I am just better off not wearing at all.

Hi there, @Antonela1618. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your Luxe odd behavior. Thank you so much for taking the time to troubleshoot it before reaching out, I understand how you must be feeling. I'll do my best to help you with this.

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Luxe. To do so, on your Fitbit device:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

Once the above has been done, you can now proceed to set up your Luxe again by following the steps provided here How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc. So please make sure you sync your Fitbit device before proceeding with the reset. Regarding your sleep data, try syncing twice in a row to make sure all data is transferred.

With the above being said, please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

Hope this helps!

I have exactly the same issue which is very frustrating.  It keeps on switching itself off randomly (today it hasn't lasted more than 30 minutes before switching off - usually with a vibrate). The only way to switch it back on is to plug it into the charger briefly.  When on it gives totally random numbers for the battery charge remaining. I have changed clockface, re-started and factory re-set all to no avail.

I followed the advice above, about erase data and resetting the advice.

I worked to a point, no more sudden turning off, but the battery is now
lasting a day, day and a half.
