Hi there, I am a French in Japan, My fitbit arrived and was in Japanese. The appli downloaded from Apple store Japan in Japanese have been installed in French automaticaly (?)

I then went to my dashboard on the computer, which was in japanese, I switched to French, thinking that then my watch will also switch to French.

But no, instead, I have a strange cube appearing instead of the "," like for 2,300 steps, it appears now 2□300、and the rest still in Japanese. I restarted the watch but nothing changed...

what did I miss?

Hi there, @JCJana. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out. . I understand where your concern is coming from.

In addition to the steps you've tired, I recommend trying the following:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture.
  2. Tap App Settings >  Location.
  3. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  4. Choose the country (Japan for example), then sync your device.
  5. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

Note that your Fitbit device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account. For more information, see How do I change my language on Fitbit?

Hope that helps.

Thank you , and sorry for the late reply. Yes I could do it, not with restarting my fitbit, But by downloading the last version, that was the only way to change the language.
