Hi all. I’ve recently bought the mesh band direct from Fitbit, one for me one for a gift for a friend. I’ve worn the new band once for a Christmas lunch. Noticed it looks like the band isn’t attached properly so I had to take it off in case it came off losing the whole thing.
ive contacted Fitbit support. They ask me to send photos. There is no returns policy on Fitbit UK web site? This is clearly a faulty product well within the statutory consumer rights.
now I’m worried I’m about to gift the same faulty product to a friend for Christmas.
anyone had similar experience with the mesh Luxe bracelet? And anyone know the returns procedure for faulty goods.
thank you
lorraine

I’ve had emails back and forth asking me for photos what country I’m in photos with case number written on piece of paper written in pen then instructed to try the band by swapping sides to check if the Luxe was faulty…. As if I’d not already tried that! Last product I ever buy from fitbit again!

Hello Lor-I, too, have a Luxe with both the gorjana band and the mesh band. Both came off and several times when it came loose, the tracker just flew off. I first returned the band and then the tracker. This went on for weeks. They finally sent me a refurbished tracker. Still came off, but not as badly. I finally picked a band and superglued it on. So far, so good. This is the last Fitbit I will buy. There is an obvious design flaw with the Luxe connector. I’m going with the Apple watch. Good luck with your Luxe.
