I upgraded from an inspire2 to a luxe this past Wednesday and my luxe has been spotty on tracking most, if not all, health metrics.(skin temperature, blood oxygenation, heart rate). additionally, it's not accurately tracking my sleep... which is the main reason I have a fitbit. today, it says I slept an hour last night and I had to manually adjust my sleep time. because of this, I don't have my quality of sleep.
If this was my first Fitbit I would think it was me but I never had this issue with my Inspire.
I have made sure the firmware was up to date and I've also restarted it. didn't help.
is there a fix? is this is a dud...that I should exchange it for a different one? should I go back to my Inspire 2? help!

This response is not an answer to the issue. You didn't answer or even address the question of op. This product the Luxe isn't working properly and...
Neither is mine.
I followed the I structures to reset the breathing rate to get it to work. It worked for like 4 days and stopped working again after charging the Luxe.
My Lux was a prize from a company party, so not returnable, but if I could I would.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @gunneric.
Thank you for the information provided.
To be able to see breathing rate it is necessary that your Fitbit Luxe registers your sleep stages (light sleep, deep sleep, and REM). If you only see a sleep pattern (time asleep, restless, and awake), please visit this article, open the menu "Why don't I see sleep stages today?" and follow the instructions.
In addition, please follow these tips to make sure you wear your Fitbit device correctly.
Hope this helps.

It registers my sleep cycles, I get reports as to my light, deep, and REM sleep time and I also get the little bar graph, but what I don't get is the Breathing Rate. I've been wearing this thing constantly, except when charging it or showering, for over a month.
On the app, I get a max of 4 data points, usually only 1 or 2 in a week, and in the last week Jan23 -29, nothing, nada, zip. 16th -22nd, 4 points, Sat, Mon, Tue, Thur.; week of 9th -15th only Fri, nothing on the 2nd - 8th.
This thing is valued at over $100 and it only works part of the time, WTF?

Mine is inaccurately tracking sleep too. And there’s apparently no solution. Disappointing Fitbit.
