Does anyone know why ever other day it records that I have less than 2 hours of sleep? I am wearing the Fitbit the same every night.

Hi, @SunsetRunner , what you are seeing is “simplified sleep” records rather than the expected “sleep stages” which gives you much more detail, including times of deep sleep, rem, light sleep etc.
One reason for getting simplified sleep instead of sleep stages is if the heart rate function is turned off or not working. Occasionally it happens that a consistent heart rate cannot be detected because of the position you are sleeping in, but you seem always to have simplified sleep.
Are you by any chance manually starting your sleep - i.e. choosing ‘Sleep now” in the Fitbit app? You must let your Luxe automatically to detect your sleep in order to get the more detailed information, so please just let your Fitbit do its thing!
Other common reason is if your Fitbit battery is critically low, but that sounds unlikely as this seems to happen every night.
You can learn much more about how your Fitbit tracks sleep by reading through this help article which gives the full low down on how your Fitbit tracks sleep and also offers some troubleshooting information.

Hi, @SunsetRunner , can you please confirm that your Fitbit is the Luxe and the heartrate function on your Luxe is turned on and working? Is your Luxe showing you your heart rate throughout the day? Because this sleep information is not what I would expect.

It’s a Luxe that I bought about 3 weeks ago. I’ve logged 18 days so far sleeping with it. The heart rate is on & seems to be working fine.
