My Luxe screen has small grey dots at the very top with one that is green
cannot reset it by charging and pressing the button on the charger
it still is logging my steps but I can’t see anything but the black screen with the small dots

As a first approach, I'd like to confirm that you tried restarting your Luxe as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
