Luxe steps won't show on my friends leaderboard

My Luxe is syncing most of the time but on my community page is shows "no recent activity" and it is the same for my friends.  I can see their steps but not mine.  I can see steps on my tracker.  I tried everything support recommended but still the same problem. Who writes the app?

You can also try doing this on the Fitbit.com dashboard:

  • From the Fitbit.com Dashboard, click on the Gear icon in the upper right hand corner > then tap Settings
  • Tap on Privacy from the menu on the left hand side
  • Then see Statistics > Average Daily Step Count > Make sure it is selected to Public

I reported this issue almost 2 weeks ago. Like you have done everything they suggested, and  nothing resolved

There is no support

I agree, I have been having this issue for over two weeks.  Many different answers, first was they are trying to fix it and not it is the app.

I agree, it has been two weeks for me also. Went through all the steps again and basically they said it is the App…see ya. No support at all. If it was an Apple device Apple always would try to get it fixed and respond.

@pjh2019 @ccn57 See if this works:

  • On the Fitbit app, tap on your profile photo in the upper left hand corner
  • Scroll down to Settings > Social & Sharing
  • Tap on Privacy
  • Scroll to Statistics > Average Daily Step Count
  • Make sure it is set to Public

This worked.

I am curious why that setting was suddenly switched off for me?  It's been on for years.
