hi, my luxe stopped recognizing exercise. i’ve very actively engaged in physical activity the past 24 hours and it still says zero days of exercise. the fitbit support chat is so useless and doesn’t listen. i haven’t changed a single thing. it just stopped counting my workouts as exercise. how to i fix this?

Hi there, @amleto. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe. I understand where your concern is coming from.

As our Support Team was trying to ask, may I know what type of activity you're doing and how you track it? Do you manually start the exercise by going into the Exercise app on your Luxe or you use SmartTrack?

If you are using SmartTrack to automatically detect your exercises, please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit Luxe is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab , then tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-recognize.

You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Keep in mind that you can also use the Exercise app to start and stop a workout. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Hi, I've noticed a similar issue. I am pretty active and set my Fitbit Luxe to 5 days exercise each week. I have the auto-recognise settings on but have changed nothing. I did a walk on Saturday which wasn't recognised, but I added it manually. On Sunday my walk was recorded. Today I did a moderate walk where I earned 17 zone minutes, but my Fitbit has not recognised it as an exercise day, whereas it normally would recognise this. I've been using my Luxe for months now and know what normally gets me the activities, so something doesn't seem right to me.
