Why is my fitbit luxe suddenly not tracking my cycling steps but will track my walking steps?

You don't naturally get steps from cycling.  When you do get step from cycling, it is from vibrations passing up through your wrist.  If you "suddenly" seemed to stop getting steps, it might be that you were riding on a smoother surface with fewer vibrations.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you, JohnnyRow, for your reply. I apologize for not being more specific. When I cycle I wear the fitbit on my ankle. Until today, the Fitbit was tracking actual movements of the foot.
