Luxe stopped tracking my walks

Until the last 3 days, the Luxe captured my 2 daily walks every day.  For the past 3 days, it has only captured one of the two daily walks.  I ran the update Fitbit launched earlier today but it still didnt capture my second walk today.  I went to the Playstore a short while ago and found another update so ran that this evening.  Any suggestions?

Hi @Rintac Have you tried Restarting your Luxe a few times. That usually fixes this sort of problem

Hi there, @Rintac. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Luxe.

As a first approach, I suggest following @NellyG's advice.

On a side note, if you are using SmartTrack to automatically detect your exercises, please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit Luxe is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab , then tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-recognize.

You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Keep in mind that you can also use the Exercise app to start and stop a workout. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

So....for the first month or so, the FB tracked both walks everyday, no
problem. Then it just stopped tracking the second walk. I changed no
settings at all at any time. I'll reread your post and try what you
recommended. Just makes no sense that the FB just arbitrarily made this
change. Theoretically, machines aren't arbitrary.

After the update released 2 days ago, it tracked both walks that day.  But yesterday it only tracked one walk.  I just did the restart routine you provided.  Fingers crossed.  Since Fitbit has SOOO many problems, I'm not going to struggle with this.  Since the warranty is so short, if this doesn't work, I'll request a replacement.   Since I've only had this for keys then 2 months, I shouldn't have to miss 50% of the tracking of my walks.  Thanks for your help.
