Luxe stopped working after getting wet

After a swim my Luxe screen was black. I had 50% charge, but I tried to charge anyway. It got so hot and still wouldn’t wake up, I tried all the suggestions on the forum - pressing the button 3 times. Still not working. It’s 3 years old. Is it time to get another one?  Also I don’t want to replace if the same thing happens. I have contacted the help line twice but not even received an acknowledgement, poor customer service prevents me purchasing another Fitbit.

Thanks for your response. I have emailed the support line 3 times with no response are i have also attempted to do online chat but clearly doesn’t work or maybe I get impatient after waiting for one hour. 
sadly my journey with Fitbit is at an end as I will be purchasing Apple with a superior customer support. Thank you
