Although there is plenty of charge in my Luxe it stops recording my activities, so I haven't a clue how many steps I have done
So frustrating!

As @Gr4ndp4 has suggested, please restart your Luxe as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If the issue persists, may I know how you track your activities? Do you use SmartTrack or use the Exercise app? Also, I'd like you to please clarify if your Luxe is turning off due to a battery short life? If this describes your issue, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hi, @Sukiesuspot, welcome to the community, I understand your Luxe did work but has stopped, You tell us it's charged so I assume it is still paired to the Fitbit app on your phone. I recommend you restart your "Luxe", this How to Restart Fitbit Luxe (Reboot) - YouTube video demonstrates the process,

I'm having a similar issue where I'm tracking on my wrist, my tracker just locks up gives me a black screen, and is unresponsive. plugging it in wakes it up, but I still lose what I was tracking and any steps until i can plug in. I started also logging using the app because the tracker was crashing/locking up. I have reset it as suggested above to no avail- it still crashes.

Hi, @Sukiesuspot & @blondechick80, as you are still experiencing difficulties after following @MarreFitbit advice I suggest you talk to "Customer Support" Use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good move to make a note before you start your call including the steps you have taken & the results, the make & model of your cellphone, and where & when you bought your Luxe as you may still have the benefit of the "warranty".
