Luxe swimming tracking is not working properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a number of issues tracking my swimming.
1. I can’t change the default length from 25 yards to 50 meters. All the topics on this must be from different fitbits because I don’t have editing options.

2. The calorie count is way off (low) as is the analysis of zone minutes.

would love advice from other swimmers.

Hi, @Janecastanias , this is something you must do in your Fitbit app and applies to all the different Fitbit trackers.

On your app, click on the picture photo/ icon top left.  That takes you to the Account screen.  On the account screen scroll down to “Activity and wellness”, and then select “exercise”

After that the instructions vary depending whether you are using Android or iOS.

Android instructions:  On the “exercise” page find “swim settings” where you can set your pool length and also whether it is meters or yards.

iOS instructions: On the “exercise” page scroll down to “pool length” There are a range of lengths in meters and yards that you can choose.

Your calorie and active minutes will be based on the information you entered when you set up your account (age, sex, height, weight) and the heart rate your Fitbit detects during exercise.  If this seems incorrect, please check your account settings and also monitor your heart rate readings to make sure this is being consistently detected.  The band should be snug, but not tight, and worn approximately two fingers about above your wrist bone.

I hope this helps!  Please post again if anything is unclear.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
