Luxe with magnetic strap gets undone when facing other metal things

Has any one else had an issue with the Luxe chain metal band coming off.  It has happened numerous times when wearing my device.  I love the look, but I am constantly checking the connections; however, when clapping my hands, or simply using my hands, it comes apart and my device went flying~!  I have it properly sized, so I'm not sure if it's the weight or what. I'm honestly not liking the plastic/silicone connectors on the fitbit luxe and wonder if this is the issue.  Thanks for any advice.

This is an unfixable problem because of the faulty design of the magnetic band.  The magnet pulls off in any environment which has metal and there is no safety catch so it goes flying.  Today, while I was out, after connecting to a grocery cart, it flew off to the floor several feet away.  In the same two hour trip, it flew off at a coffee shop when moving a metal chair and again when opening a metal handled door to enter a business.  I gave up and threw it into my purse--it even detaches by adhering to the mental rings on my purse.  At home, it pulls off when washing pots and pans among other things  It's just a matter of time before it gets lost or permanently damaged. I've now had to stop wearing my new Luxe because of this issue.  I love the Luxe itself and bought it for the combo Luxe with platinum mesh band.  I don't care to use the pink silicone band.  Can Fitbit please address this issue and notify people when a resolution and functional replacement is available?  I'll be looking for a functional, knock off band in the meantime.
