Luxe won't pair to my Windows PC

I don't have a smartphone, have Windows PC I have installed app on.  It paired once, but after closing and coming back, it's not pairing again.  Windows isn't seeing device.  Is there a way to make sure Lux is in pairing mode?

Hi @Dconn7  to set up, you must have a smartphone. Do you have friends or family who might have one you can use to get started?

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Have a Nexus 5 (I don't use, switched to a flip phone), Fitbit app not showing up at Playstore.  I'll see if I can sideload it.  Odd a new all-in-one Dell PC with bluetooth doesn't work with it.  It did connect once, then lost it.

No luck on finding an app to sideload.  Trying on Husbands Pixel.  It sees his Charge5 no problem.  Doesn't find Luxe.  Signed in as me on his Pixel, doesn't sync.  Restarted Luxe, no joy.  Battery 100%.

Hi, @Dconn7 , if your husband’s phone works fine with his Charge 5, that’s what you need to set up your Fitbit Luxe.  All of the latest Fitbits are designed ONLY to set up using a smartphone, but once you get it set up you should be able to sync and view your stats via the Windows app on your computer.

I would suggest trying the set up again a couple of times using your husband’s phone while logged in to your Fitbit account.

If after several tries, and restarts, the app on the phone is still unable to find your Luxe I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support .  Be sure to let them know the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

I live with older eyes and occasionally like to see my dashboard on the PC not the tiny Android.  Bummed that I can't use an app that's in the tray.  Instead, I have to find the site in my "other folders", then the find my User name (I have at least 30) and PW (I have over 250), then type it all in, then get to what I want.   Okay, maybe I'm being a Karen here, but I used to have that access.

I'd really like a one tap access.  Are you listening Google & Fitbit?

Hi, @KappysFlex you can still look at your information, activity, stats etc on your PC Dashboard.  You can find a link to it whenever you are logged into these Community Forums.  Just click on “Dashboard” on the top right of every page.

The only change is that you can no longer set up or sync your Fitbit directly with the PC.  Once paired and synced with your phone your information will be available on the web based dashboard.
