Luxe won't pair with my phone anymore

My Luxe is less than 2 yrs old. 3 days ago it was charging and I noticed it displayed a red x inside a white circle symbol (or vice versa)😬 I figured that was tbe typical death of a high tech device sign. It didn't want to turn on either..long story short....after it turned on I noticed the time was wrong. I couldn't sync it on the app ..tried everything so I chose to forget it on android ...now my phone struggles to find it again and when Bluetooth does manage to find it ..it absolutely can't pair to it now.  No advice I have tried works. So basically fit but tracks and does everything but sync pair and know the correct time

Hi @JeniGitsAbitFit Not syncing is awful when it happens. Have you tried the suggestions in THIS Help Article on syncing? If you are trying to set up your Tracker in the app again and are having problems then try THIS one. I hope you are back working with your fitbit again soon!

Hi there, @JeniGitsAbitFit @lagomez. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit devices are still not syncing. I understand how you guys must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I'd recommend trying the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Fitbit device first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Once you manage to pair and sync your Fitbit devices, the time (and date) should be corrected. Keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

You want us to remove ALL bluetooth saved devices????

Is that the solution or is this a workaround until a new firmware version is available?
