Luxe won't receive notifications and relax app doesn't work

I got my luxe at the start of March this year (2022) it has never received a notification of a txt message nor has it ever recorded the data from me using the band relax app to the mindfulness in the fit bit app

 

I’ve tried rebooting the device 

force closing the app

unsyncing the device from my phone and re syncing 

 

Nothing works.

any ideas??

Thanks for letting us know what you have already tried. @Candice15.  Which phone are you using? Please check to make sure the OS is up to date. Here are the requirements.  

  • Apple iOS 13.4 or higher
  • Android 10 or higher

I am using an iPhone XS running iOS 15.4. Whatever there up to lol… I can receive notifications on my band for phone calls and messages from 3rd party apps just not from normal SMS txt messages. And yes I have made sure it is turned on in the Fitbit app.


 I’m still not able to record the relax guided breathing into the mindfulness in the Fitbit app.

am completely at a lost.

I’m sorry you feel that way… I happen to love my luxe.. as I am a woman of some what of a certain age have 6 kids ranging from 13yrs down to 4yrs and find the use of the luxe to help me stay focused on my goals and help me track certain female attributes an absolute god send… it even helps me fall asleep when my Brain just wants to continue with the day week month and won’t shut off.. this is when I use the relax setting on the band to custom myself a breathing exercise and help me drift off to sleep to the vibration of the band on my wrist and the focus on my breathing.

Hi @SunsetRunner just wondering what the next steps if any I could take to get this issue fixed… would really help if I could receive at least the sms notifications as I do a lot of work away from my phone and having this problem fixed would be a big help

HI @Candice15 - I have an iPhone also and receive sms messages on my Fitbit device. Here are my iPhone settings in Support > Messages. You can compare them to what you have.

iMessage - on

Send as SMS - on

MMS messaging - on

Group messaging - on

 

If none of this helps, it would be best to contact  Fitbit Support. I’m not sure what else to do at this point.
